ABUSE TRUTH
signs of being abused: - being controlled - being called names and belittled - being isolated from your family and friends - being forced to do things you don't want to - being hit, kicked, pushed, shoved, punched - emotional breakdown the effects of abuse: - emotional trauma - physical sickness - mental illness - bodily injury - scars (emotional, mental, and physical) - flashbacks and nightmares - anxiety - paranoia the enemies lies through abuse : - everything is your fault - you are worthless - you deserve to be abused - you are a terrible person - you can never be loved now or again - you are not wanted - you are not loved - you are defective - you do not deserve to live - you do not matter - your dreams do not matter - you have no future - your heart will never heal the enemies take on abuse : The enemy brings us down through abuse. If he can get us in the right place at the right moment we can become a victim of abuse. The enemy likes to use those who are prone to anger and violence issues to bring abuse on others. These individuals are perfect vessels to be used by the enemy to bring us down. The enemy uses them to get inside of our mind. The enemy knows that we can become the weakest through our mind. The enemy wants to control our mind. If the enemy can get a hold our mind then he has control of us. He tries to control us through bondage in our mind. Bondage which abuse has manifested. The heavier the burden of abuse the enemy places on us, the more likely the chance that we will either not receive freedom (because of his deception) or not find it. That is his take on abuse : keeping you from freedom. the bondage of abuse : The enemy uses abuse in our life to feed us lies. The enemy Satan is the bringer of abuse in our life. The enemy causes us to be abused for a number of reasons. One reason may be that Satan sees our potential and tries to keep us from it. Satan knows that if he can cause us to be abused then we will lose our self worth. We will begin to think something is wrong with us. We will also believe that we caused the abuse, this is another lie of the enemy. Although it is possible that we took steps that may have lead to being abused, it doesn't necessarily mean that we deserved to be abused or caused ourselves to suffer abuse. Another lie that Satan doesn't want you to know is that he leads us to the path of abuse. Satan is the bringer of anything bad. Abuse creates bondage that keeps us from knowing the truth about Jesus. Abuse is one of worst types of bondage. Abuse will get to your mind and cause mental issues. Abuse leaves more scars in the mind and soul than anywhere else. Most of the time the abuser and Satan both want to control us through mind control. The abuser and Satan also both do not want to see you break free. The good news is though that you can break free from your abuser and Satan through Jesus Christ. God's truth: - You are beautiful - You are loved - You have worth - You have a future - You can be set free - You are wanted - You matter - You are treasured - You are accepted - Your dreams matter - Your heart can be healed - It's not your fault Gods take on abuse: God's take on abuse is the exact opposite of the enemies take on it. God hates abuse, it saddens the heart of God to see others suffering. God wants you to know that you can be set free from the bondage of abuse through the blood of his son Jesus Christ. The chains of bondage can be broken through Jesus and Jesus alone. Through God's word and prayer the bondage will begin to fall off. Over time through praying and reading God's Word (The Bible) your mindset will slowly become changed. Through reading verses on freedom, God's healing, God's love, and peace God can begin to start the healing process of abuse. Over time the verses will begin to take root in your mind and life. As the verses take root the chains begin to be broken. Once the chains are broken God's healing and freedom manifests in your life. Gods truth sets us free : God uses his word and the holy spirit to set us free from the bondage of abuse. Only God can truly set us free through the blood of his son Jesus from the bondage of abuse. True freedom from abuse only exists through the power of God. Nothing in this whole world can set you free except God. God can empty us of the pain of abuse through reading his word and praying. Over time things will slowly fade away and we will be left with the end result : peace. Once we have been exposed to the truth that God loves us and will set us free then it makes it easier for the bondage to fall away. Freedom from bondage isn't instant, it is something that takes place over time with sincere effort. We have to be determined to open all our heart to God so we can receive his healing. Even if it does takes time to open certain chambers of our heart, in time we will begin to allow God in the parts we once refused to allow him to clean out. God is a patient God and he is willing to help and heal us of our bondage if we will only let him. As long as we are trying to be set from bondage God will meet us at our place of need and he will produce healing in our soul. Help verses : Pain : Job 36:15 (NIRV) 15 But God saves suffering people while they are suffering. He speaks to them while they are hurting. Psalm 22:24 (NIRV) 24 He has not forgotten the one who is hurting. He has not turned away from his suffering. He has not turned his face away from him. He has listened to his cry for help. 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV) 7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Psalm 34:18 (NIRV) 18 The Lord is close to those whose hearts have been broken. He saves those whose spirits have been crushed. Freedom : John 8:31 (ESV) 31So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed in him, "If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, John 8:32 (ESV) 32and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." John 8:36 (ESV) 36So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. 2 Corinthians 3:17 (NCV) 17 The Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Galatians 5:1 (NIRV) 1 Christ has set us free. He wants us to enjoy freedom. So stand firm. Don't let the chains of slavery hold you again. Peace : Psalm 29:11 (NIRV) 11 The Lord gives strength to his people. The Lord blesses his people with peace. Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) 3 You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! John 14:27(NIRV) 27 "I leave my peace with you. I give my peace to you. I do not give it to you as the world does. Do not let your hearts be troubled. And do not be afraid. New Beginning : Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Isaiah 43:18 (NIRV) 18 "Forget the things that happened in the past. Do not keep on thinking about them. Isaiah 61:3 (NIRV) 3 ............I will put beautiful crowns on their heads in place of ashes. I will anoint them with oil to give them gladness instead of sorrow. I will give them a spirit of praise in place of a spirit of sadness. They will be like oak trees that are strong and straight. The Lord himself will plant them in the land. That will show how glorious he is. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV) 17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. Suicide truth
Depression Symptoms : - Feeling alone - Feeling worthless - Feeling rejected - Feeling hopeless - Feeling unloved - Feeling Sad - loss of energy - loss of interest in once loved activities - messed up sleep patterns (too much sleep or too little sleep) - weight gain or weight loss - seclusion and wanting nothing to do with other people - change in behavior or thoughts - Feeling as if you have lost yourself - thinking about death The Lies of the World and of The enemy Satan : - You will always be abandoned and alone - You will never be accepted by others - You will never be loved - You should kill yourself - You are worthless - You are fat - You are ugly - You can never do anything right - You have no value - That everything is always your fault - You would be better off dead - no one wants you - your existence has no meaning - God hates you - God does not love you - You are unforgiveable - You are a screw up - You are forgotten - You can never be healed - You will always be in pain - You will always be hurt - You will always be in torment - You will never have peace Truth about the enemy and his schemes : Satan uses others to inflict hurt on us. Any person who says anything to hurt or bring you down are being influenced by Satan. They may not know they are being used by him, but they are. The number one scheme Satan uses to get us down is having other people say these things to us. He especially likes to use those closest to us because he knows that it will hurt us even more. The enemy is a liar, a fake, and fraud. He does not have your interest in mind. His only interest is to destroy you and keep you from God. The enemy knows God loves you and he will do everything he can do to keep you from God's Love. Depression is one of his favorite schemes because he knows that it could lead to death. Satan knows that if you die by killing yourself that you will possibly be sentenced to Hell and that will be ultimate separation from God. If you kill yourself, Satan will win the battle of destroying your soul. When you try to kill yourself you are not just destroying your body/flesh, You are also destroying your soul as well. You are more than just a body, You have a soul as well. Your Soul is what the enemy is after, your body is useless to him. He just uses your body to inflict damage upon you. If he can kill your body through suicide than he has captured your soul to burn in Hell with him. Therefore both Depression and Suicide come from the enemy Satan and is not from God. Ways that Satan gets into our Life : - Through our mind : Satan will use negative thoughts to deceive us and to hurt us. He will bring back thoughts of past hurts and wrongs. He will almost haunt you with the past so that all the light of a future is completely blocked out. The mind is where Satan attacks the most. Our mind seems to be the easiest for him to get into because we never truly suspect him to try. After all the world has taught us that it is okay to think what we want to, it doesn't hurt, right? well wrong, it is a battlefield and Satan is not in our army, he is in the opposing army of darkness and Hell. He is cunning enough to try anything, so watch your back or be shot down. - Through music : Satan will work through negative lyrics which talk about death, loss, drugs, alcohol, pain, hurt, and the list goes on. This is not just subject to genres such as suicide metal. This also can happen in other genres such as country, pop, rock, rap, alternative, punk, and many more. Satan uses wrong words in lyrics to captivate his victims. Remember it is not the genre of music that is bad, it depends upon the words in the lyrics. As most know it is mainstream music that Satan uses. Now days every genre has pretty much been taken over by Christ centered lyrics as well. Look for bands like that to replace that negative ones so you can block the enemy from working in your life. Remember Satan uses lyrics, not musical style. - Through media : Satan will use media such as TV shows, movies, magazines, books to get into our life. Satan will use wrong morals and bad story lines to drag down his victims. The story line in any of these things can literally suggest death and suicide. They may also suggest that it is okay to think bad of yourself. That it is okay to be negative and that life is hopeless and always will be. Then again they suggest to engage in wrong behaviors, these wrong behaviors such as drugs, partying, drinking, appear to be a good way to get rid of the pain. The truth is that it is a lie because when you get to the end of the bottle there you sit even more hopeless than before. When you get done sleeping around you have an even bigger hole in your heart. None of these things will bring you hope. media does influence that these things are okay, I bet your thinking that it is okay, after all the world has said it is. Is it really okay? no it isn't and that my friend is the enemy already working in your life. Media is Satan's playground and his game is a never ending game of hand grenades. - Wrong people : Satan will use wrong people and crowds to hurt us and bring us down. These wrong people and crowds will also pressure us into doing wrong things. These people basically bring satanic influence in our life and most of the time the people doing it doesn't even realize that they are being used by him. They may have bad habits such as cutting, listening to bad music, bad behavior, partying, doing drugs, drinking, gossiping, backbiting. hating, manipulating, spreading rumors, hurting others, etc. All of these things could lead to depression and Satan finding a hole in your life and mind. Not to mention these people may turn on you the same way they turn on others which will leave you feeling alone. Satan will use people like this to keep you on the path to destruction. The path of destruction will almost always lead to depression and possibly suicide. (don't get me wrong, we are to pray for these people, but we do not and should not let them influence us because it will allow demonic activity in our life) - Through drugs and alcohol : Satan will use alcohol and drugs to trap people. By doing drugs and drinking he can work his magic. Satan's magic is to get you to believe the lie that the drugs and alcohol will make everything better. The truth is it will only makes things worst. Satan wants you to think that by doing drugs and drinking that your pain will completely be gone, but it isn't true. After so long you will realize that you are trapped by the drugs and drinking. Once this happens there is no getting free except through Divine intervention. Most people suffer even worst depression once they realize that the drinking and drugs aren't working. Satan loves to breed false hope through drugs and alcohol, false hope that breeds depression and suicide, and possibly spiritual and bodily death. - Abuse : Satan likes to influence others to abuse so that people will be hurt. Abuse brings mental torture. Abuse has the power to bring one down so low that they will contemplate death through suicide. Abuse is a major attack that Satan uses to hurt people. Abuse is from the enemy Satan and it is one of his most vicious attacks on all genders, races, and ages. It can happen to anyone at any time and it will almost always leave a fog of depression on the one who has been abused. The scar that abuse leaves is deadly and a perfect atmosphere for Satan to go to work in a person's life. Abuse lowers a person's defense so low that they do not have enough strength on their own. Sadly Satan causes a lot of suicides through abuse. The truth is though that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is Jesus Christ and he will help you overcome. - Bad Situations and Circumstances : Satan will cause bad situations and circumstances to take place in peoples lives. He will cause anything from a death in the family, a job loss, a house fire, losing your car or house because of finances, divorce, cheating in a marriage, car wrecks, sicknesses, homelessness, rape, molestation, a child being abducted, murder, having everything stolen, identity thief, and the list goes on. All of these things listed are brought on by the enemy. All of these things also have the impact to cause depression. Satan actually causes some to commit suicide because of all of these bad situations. He uses these situations to make people feel hopeless and then he talks them out of their own souls through deception and you can guess what happens next. The Truths about God : - God Loves You - God thinks you are valuable - God thinks you have worth - God Forgives you through his son Jesus Christ - God will heal you through his son Jesus Christ - God will never forsake you - God will never leave you - God will give you hope - God will give you a purpose and a future - God sees you as his precious treasure - God will give you rest through Jesus Christ - God will give you peace through Jesus Christ - God will restore you The Truth About God and His Salvation : God is love and he will never hurt you. If you are being hurt than it was brought on through the enemy Satan breaking through somewhere in your life. If you are suffering it is because you have either allowed Satan in through making wrong choices or it is because other people making bad choices that the enemy Satan has influenced. God loves you and thinks you are valuable. The thing is that God cannot help you unless you freely allow him to. In order to have God help and heal you, you must accept Jesus Christ, his son, as your personal savior. You must do this because you were born with sin because of Adam and Eve's sin in the garden you were separated from God. God sent Jesus to die in your place so that by him you could be restored into a relationship with God through his sacrifice. Jesus Christ's death on the cross allowed us to have the gift of eternal life. We gain this gift through open confession and invitation to have him as our savior to live in our hearts. Christ's blood shed on the cross at calvary covers all of our sins so that we can enter into the presence of God and be pure before his sight. Once you openly confess Christ as your savior, God will send the holy spirit to live within you to help you. The holy spirit is what God works through. By having his holy spirit within you he can begin to clean out the things in your life, heart, and mind that are attacking you. He does this through his word : The Bible. As you spend time talking and praying to God, he will begin the work in you that will spring forth healing and restoration. You must ask him to help and surrender your will so that you can experience everything God wants to give you. It takes time, but the results are peace, joy, happiness, rest, feeling loved, feeling accepted, and being healed. Even if bad times come in life, you will still be a whole lot happier and at peace then you were prior to knowing Christ. God uses his word in the bible to help bring you all of the things mentioned. You must continue reading the word daily and ask God to show you things you do not know. He will open your spiritual eyesight up to things that will help you in areas of life where you are struggling. In time this will strengthen your faith so that you can stand against the attacks of the enemy and still remain at peace because of the holy spirit comforting you within. So the truth about God is that he is waiting to give you eternal life through Jesus and that could be why you are suffering. Ways that God will heal our life : - Through prayer : Time spent in prayer with God will cause him to heal you. Laying requests at his feet will allow him to work in your life. Through praying to him for help he can begin to work in your life. Through prayer he can bring people into your life to help lead you to healing. He can also guide you to the right resources for you to receive your healing. Then again he may lead you to certain scriptures in his word for your healing. All of this happens when you pray for God's help. Therefore prayer is a vital part to being healed by God. Prayer is basically having a one of one conversation with God. - Through worship/praise : Praise and worship moves the heart of God. Through praising and singing to God while you are alone, he can clean the things out of you that are hurting you. The singing and praising allows the holy presence to flow to the surface of your soul. As you worship more and more, the Holy Spirit starts to overtake your soul. As it over takes your soul with its burning fire, God begins to push out the things that are not of him. As he pushes out the things that are not of him, tears start to flow and through those tears pain is being released and healing starts to take place. - Through His word : This is the most common way God heals a person. God uses certain scriptures that apply to whatever pain or situation we are going through. Through his word God will bring forth life and divine healing to our soul. As time goes by and you continue in his word you will be made whole and set free from whatever pain you may be suffering from. The bible which is God's word is not merely a book of writing, it is the word of God. The bible contains life and has the power to pierce like a sword into our soul and bring healing from God. - Through The Holy Spirit : God will use his holy spirit within us to help us grow and be healed. Through the holy spirit God gives us comfort and peace. Over time that comfort and peace will heal us. The holy spirit dwelling within us gives us strength to stand up when situations happen. Through the holy spirit we can be shielded from circumstances, but only if we chose not to worry and give our circumstance and pain to God. When we release the circumstances and pain God begins working through the holy spirit to give you the comfort and peace which you need to stay strong and make it through. - Through His Love : There is just something about knowing God Loves You that makes a person whole. We are all born with a hole in our heart that can only be filled by God and his love. Once we become aware of God's love for us, it will begin to change us slowly. Since God's love is changing us we will slowly begin the healing process and be made new. God's love is the ultimate glue that brings us restoration and healing. Without his love in our life we cannot be properly healed, because God is our ultimate healer and he heals us through his love for us. - Through Consecration : Through living a lifestyle of Consecration we can obtain healing. Consecration is not living in a holy bubble and kicking everyone out of your life, it is something completely different from that. Consecration is allowing God to take things or relationships out of your life that may be keeping him from you and may also be blocking your healing. Wrong things may be anywhere from bad habits, wrong music, wrong media, personal belongings from bad situations, drugs, alochol, etc. The good thing is that God convicts your heart over time of the things he isn't pleased with in your life. Since he convicts you of those things he will also give you the strength to give them up. He helps you give them up through prayer and reading his word. Remember you don't get clean before you come to God. God cleans you up slowly so that you can receive all the healing and happiness that he has for you and your life. - Through Jesus Christ : Through Jesus Christ's blood on the cross we have the right to approach God and receive his divine healing. Jesus is who makes us holy in the sight of God. Jesus bore all of our pain and sickness on the cross. Therefore through Jesus we can be healed. By applying the blood of Jesus and Scripture to the area of pain in our life we can receive healing. Jesus Christ is ultimately our redeemer and Healer. He binds up our hurts and wounds and makes us whole again. No other blood on earth can do what the Blood of Jesus Christ can do for us. The symptoms of being suicidal : - extreme mood changes - extreme changes in behavior - self mutilation - death attempts - extreme thoughts of death - thoughts of bodily harm - thoughts of death - talking about death - planning your death - writing suicide notes Healing : Psalm 103:3 (New Century Version) He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. Romans 5:8 (New Living Translation) But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Romans 8:38-39 (New International Reader's Version) I am absolutely sure that not even death or life can separate us from God's love. Not even angels or demons, the present or the future, or any powers can do that. Not even the highest places or the lowest, or anything else in all creation can do that. Nothing at all can ever separate us from God's love because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done. 1 John 4:9-10 (New Century Version) 9 This is how God showed his love to us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we could have life through him. 10 This is what real love is: It is not our love for God; it is God's love for us. Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world's darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world. That is why you need to put on God's full armor. Then on the day of evil you will be able to stand strong. And when you have finished the whole fight, you will still be standing. So stand strong, with the belt of truth tied around your waist and the protection of right living on your chest. On your feet wear the Good News of peace to help you stand strong. And also use the shield of faith with which you can stop all the burning arrows of the Evil One. Accept God's salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers, asking for everything you need. To do this you must always be ready and never give up. Always pray for all God's people. James 4:7 (Contemporary English Version) Surrender to God! Resist the devil, and he will run from you. 1 Peter 5:8-9 (New International Reader's Version) Control yourselves. Be on your guard.
